2025 Catholic Herald Teacher of the Year Recipient

St. Joseph Catholic Academy is proud to announce that Ms Louise Meyer has been named a 2025 Catholic Herald Teacher of the Year. This well-deserved recognition honors her outstanding dedication to Catholic education, her excellence in teaching, and her unwavering faith-centered leadership.
Since joining St. Joseph High School on February 17, 1999, Ms. Meyer has been an integral part of our school community. For over 25 years, she has taught Chemistry, inspiring students with a passion for science while integrating faith into her lessons. She has modeled Catholic values in and out of the classroom, starting every class with prayer and nurturing the spiritual and academic growth of her students.
The Catholic Herald Teacher of the Year Award is a testament to Ms. Meyer’s exceptional impact on the SJCA community and beyond. Her dedication to academic excellence, faith formation, and student mentorship exemplifies the mission of Catholic education.
Ms. Meyer will be formally honored at the Catholic Schools Dinner on Tuesday, March 11, at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. We invite the SJCA community—students, parents, alumni, and faculty—to join us in celebrating this extraordinary milestone and showing our support for Ms. Meyer.
